Red Cross - Low Cost Great Cause

This is a great title for the Red Cross op shop - because it's catchy and it rhymes!

The SHOP@ RED CROSS is tucked away in a residential estate in the East, or more specifically, the Siglap Area (Opera Estate). The exact address is 62 Jalan Khairuddin, Singapore 457524 at the Red Cross Training Campsite. More Details here!

Open on Fridays from 10.30 am to 3.30 pm, the shop is manned by a wonderful group of volunteers.

Proceeds from the sale support the Red Cross (RC) Humanitarian projects in Singapore, including:
- RC Home for the Disabled
- RC Blood Donor Recruitment Programme
- RC Ambulance Service
- RC Training Centre
- RC Humanitarian Network.

In short, buying that extra bath mat could effect multiple benefits in a far off country, or it might just save someone's life!
